Agnetha Faltskog
Although she has made her name as a solo artist in Sweden, Agnetha Faltskog will always be remembered as a member of 'ABBA' an iconic and famous and well-known pop bands of all time. After leaving school at 15, Agnetha Faltskog began singing with Bernt Enghardt's group that quickly gained popularity. With Enghardt's help, she was able to secure a record deal and soon was a top performer in Sweden with her first release. After getting engaged, she wed Bjorn Ulvaeus and was a part of the group 'ABBA'. Over the course of eight years, 'ABBA' would become one of the top popular acts around the globe which earned many platinum and gold awards around the globe. Following ABBA she released 3 albums "Wrap Your Arms Around Me', Eyes of a Woman' and I Stand Alone'. They were all hugely popular in Sweden. The band were also popular across Europe. However, they were not a major hit in America. The music of ABBA was the focus of a show on jukeboxes called "Mamma Mia!. Her album 'My Coloring Books was a huge success, reaching eleven on the chart in the UK it was made after she came out of her retirement. Her new album "A," has enjoyed a great reception.
